About MARNA CHESTER
I am an artist and maker. Born and based in Brooklyn, NY. I have created paper installations for weddings and special events, art galleries, commercial and private clients. My work has been exhibited at Wave Hill, Gitler & Gallery, Governors Island, The Wild Bird Fund Gallery, the Rye Arts Center (RAC), and the Voelker Orth Museum (VOM), among others. Commercial work includes the television series, Gotham, The Italian Cultural Institute, Bergdorf Goodman’s window displays, and more. I have taught paper sculpture workshops for kids and adults at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, NY Botanical Garden, Yeshiva University Museum, RAC, The Creative Center, VOM, The Brooklyn Brainery, Camp Eisner, UNIS (The United Nations International School), and Au Papier Japonais in Montreal. I hold a BFA from Alfred University and an MPS from Pratt Institute.
